Wayne Baldwin was re-elected mayor of White Rock for a second term in 2014, continuing a lifelong career of public service. He served as White Rock city manager for 23 years, deputy municipal engineer for the District of North Vancouver and as a major in the Canadian Army.

In addition to extensive career experience, Wayne has a solid background of education, with degrees from three different universities: bachelor of science (Royal Military College), master of engineering (University of Toronto) and master of business administration (Simon Fraser University).

His board experience includes director of the Greater Vancouver Regional District, member of the Union of BC Municipalities executive board, president of the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators and past president of the White Rock Rotary Club.

In 2012, Wayne was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contributions to the community and Canada.
