What can we help you with?
Dental rate change August 1, 2018
As you know, the amount you pay for your dental plan is decreasing August 1, 2018. You don’t need to do anything; the amount deducted to cover your premium will automatically be reduced, starting with the pension payment you receive in July or your August direct payment.
If you are thinking about changing your dental coverage from essential to enhanced, remember:
- You must participate in the essential dental plan for at least 24 months before you are eligible to upgrade your coverage
- Retired members who enrolled in the essential dental plan in 2017 will be eligible to upgrade starting in 2019
- More information about how to change your coverage will be available on the plan website November 2018
