Talitha Dekker

Talitha Dekker has been a member of the Hospital Employees' Union (HEU) since 2005. She has been an HEU trustee since 2016; her current term will expire in 2024.

In 2021, Talitha was elected a Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) trustee for a four-year term, representing British Columbia, Alberta and the Yukon. She is in her third term on CUPE's National Advisory Committee on Pensions.

Talitha is treasurer of the Kamloops & District Labour Council. She also served on the board of United Way British Columbia and as the financial agent for two NDP provincial candidates.

Talitha works full time in the finance department of the Interior Health Authority on the unceded territory of the Tk'emlups te Secwepemc Peoples, known as Kamloops.
