Environmental, social and governance issues are key to the board’s investment approach.
PRI reporting
As a PRI signatory, the Municipal Pension Plan takes part in an assessment of our responsible investment activities to measure and benchmark progress. Over the years, we have consistently received positive scores from PRI.
The assessment is a report card listing our scores. The transparency report includes the plan’s responses to all questions asked by PRI during the assessment. Both are posted publicly to provide accountability and transparency on our responsible investment activities.
The results from the 2023 PRI assessment report demonstrate the plan is a leader in responsible investment.
The plan received four out of five stars in all categories and outperformed peers significantly in the Policy, Governance and Strategy category, which captures the overall approach to responsible investment.
