Dean Levangie is a pension and benefits specialist and senior consultant for the Health Employers Association of BC, where he has worked since 2000. In the last seven years, Dean has spent significant time involved in the implementation and now, as a trustee, the operation of the jointly trusteed health sector benefit trusts: the Joint Community Benefits Trust, the Joint Facilities Benefits Trust and the Joint Health Sciences Benefits Trust.

Dean was appointed as an MRBT trustee at the trust’s inception in 2022 and appointed board chair by the Board of Trustees as of July 1, 2024.

Dean is also an alternate trustee on the Municipal Pension Board of Trustees.
