Kelvin Stretch is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA, FCMA) and holds a Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. In 2022, Kelvin retired as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary Treasurer (ST) for School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson), a position he held for 15 years. As Secretary Treasurer, Kelvin was responsible for overseeing the operational functions of the school district, collaborating with the Director of Human Resources in the daily administration of employee benefit plans for 2,200 staff members with Pacific Blue Cross as the benefit provider.

Kelvin was appointed to the Municipal Pension Plan Board of Trustees by the BC Public School Employers' Association in 2023 and continues to serve in this capacity. He was also appointed to the Municipal Retiree Benefit Board of Trustees in January 2026.
