Kelvin Stretch, MBA, FCPA, FCMA

Kelvin Stretch was appointed as to the Municipal Pension Board of Trustees in January 2023. Kelvin retired in 2021 from School District No. 73 (Kamloops–Thompson) where he was first finance manager, then controller and then CFO/secretary-treasurer.

Kelvin has experience on provincial boards and committees, including executive committee positions with the British Columbia Association of School Business Officials; investment committee of Kamloops Foundation; executive committee positions with Certified Management Accountants of British Columbia; management committee of Sagebrush Theatre; and board of Kamloops Golf & Country Club.

Kelvin has been named a Fellow (FCMA) of the Society Management Accountants of Canada for his service to the society and a Fellow (FCPA) of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia for contributions to enhancing the visibility, reputation and credibility of the accounting profession. Kelvin holds a master of business administration from Simon Fraser University.
