Claire Moglove

Claire practiced family law for over 30 years, retiring in 2014. She is a Campbell River city councillor, first elected in 2008, re-elected in 2011 and returned in 2018. She is also third vice-president of the Union of BC Municipalities, having previously been on executive from 2012-2014 and 2019-2020.

Claire has extensive board experience. She chaired the board of the Comox Strathcona Regional Hospital District for three years, served on the board of governors and the governance, finance and policy review committees of Vancouver Island University for three years, and was a member of the board of directors of Island Health from 2016 to 2021, where she chaired the human resources and compensation committee for three years.
