Amy has 15 years of experience in progressively senior roles in the BC public service. As the superintendent of motor vehicles and assistant deputy minister for RoadSafetyBC, Amy provides executive leadership to a team of dedicated public servants on the development and implementation of effective road safety policies with the goal of eliminating motor vehicle crash fatalities and serious injuries.

In her previous role as deputy cabinet secretary and assistant deputy minister of Cabinet Operations, Amy was responsible for managing agendas by providing strategic advice to the premier, cabinet secretary and other senior officials; ensuring that staff and systems function to effectively support cabinet and cabinet committee decision making; and development and delivery of government’s legislative agenda.

Prior to these appointments, Amy held various roles with the Deputy Minister’s Office, Office of the Premier, Treasury Board staff and the Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation.
