Trish was appointed to the Municipal Pension Board of Trustees in January 2026. She is an award-winning, nationally recognized governance professional, inclusion strategist, author, and strategic advisor with extensive experience in public-sector leadership, board governance, organizational transformation, operational efficiency, and people systems.

She currently serves as Immediate Past President of the Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM), following two terms as President, and is a City Councillor for the City of Coquitlam.

With an impressive early career in microbiology and embryology, Trish transitioned into entrepreneurship and is the founder of two companies with complementary mandates: one focused on strengthening board effectiveness, decolonizing governance and transformative organizational solutions; and the other focused on AI governance and the delivery of AI and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and modernize public-sector systems.

Over her career, Trish has served on more than 25 boards across the private, public and nonprofit sectors, including chair roles. She currently serves on the Boards of the SFU Beedie School of Business and as Vice Chair for Women’s Enterprise Centre BC.
